We are happy to announce that our Disaster Relief Prototype modules will be arriving on site in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to be assembled Saturday the 26th through Sunday the 27th.

For those who haven't been keeping up, we've been working on an exciting project for NYC's Office of Emergency Management and Department of Design & Construction. Their Urban Post-Disaster Housing Prototype Program marks an initial step towards establishing a more efficient and productive Disaster Relief procedure for NYC and eventually the country.

Garrison Architects has been hard at work on designing a prototype that will act as a testing site for a finalized design, which will be immediately-deployable in the event of a future disaster. We teamed up with Mark Line Industries to fabricate the 3-story, 3-unit modular housing development in their factory in Indiana. Below are some photo highlights of the fabrication process.

We'd love for anyone interested to come by throughout the day Saturday to check out the installation for yourselves.
